I've only ever had the plain pizza and garlic knots here and they're very good. When it's right out of the oven the hot gooey cheese and crust is superb. It has the right amount of salt, and the sauce is tasty. This place beats a lot of the pizzerias in the city. Their service is also great as I sometimes order 10+ pies for work and they have it ready in 30 minutes. They also asked if I need plates and napkins and always provide plenty. Only thing is they don't like to take credit cards, so I need to make sure I have cash for 10+ pies.

My husband grew up eating this pizza as a child. We love returning for slices and reminiscing about his youth growing up in Canarasie. We have now taken both of our sons back whenever we return for a trip to explore the city. The neighborhood has changed but it's awesome to see this pizzeria thriving all these years. It's honestly a gem and true NYC-style pizza. Their freshly made mozzarella and marinara are the best

I placed an order over the phone today and the experience was so pleasant. Its everything of what I receive in person. I can tell that they appreciate their customers and that they truly love what they do. Their customer service is a win EVERY time! It could be all about the food if they wanted; when you talk about a business the customer service is a must for me, but the food is equally as important and never misses the mark! If you want to prove a point about what a NY slice can do for the soul - this'll help you win the argument. Period.

Love this pizza shop It's a staple for the floss, growing up couldn't go without grabbing a slice after school or on a hot summer day. I have no complaints yes the food has changed but it's still yummy I remember back in the days the guys who ran the shop were og Italians I don't think anyone can touch them but as it still stands original pizza is the best pizza in the floss

I'll start off by giving woke Yelp 0 stars for not including this place when I typed in pizza. Instead leading me to another pizza shop that looked suspect. I asked the locals which led me here. Seems like I don't need yelp anymore. As far as Original Pizza, had a regular slice and a spinach roll. Both were excellent. Well prepared and fresh. Service was friendly and quick. They're still not allowing in door dining.

This Pizza shop is a neighborhood staple. It's been around since my childhood. This is the go to pizza spot I'm Canarsie. There's metered parking available and it's accessible by MTA public transportation nearby. The service is quick they'll greet you and get your order right all the time. It's a family dinner business too. I usually get my pizza to go. The pizza is very good. The sauce is tasty and robust. The crust is thin and the pizza has an overall great traditional NY flavor to it. Check out this spot when you're in the area
